Operation Sphinx (APT-C-15) is a Middle East-focused cyber-espionage campaign that used watering hole attacks and lure documents to infect political and military targets, deployed a modular ROCK/NJ-RAT family of malware with extensive C2 and data-exfiltration capabilities, and included infrastructure details, attack techniques, and correlation analyses, with activity spanning from 2011 to 2016 and targeting Egypt and Israel.
