SecurityScorecard’s analysis of South Korea’s top 100 public companies finds systemic supply-chain cyber exposure and uneven cyber hygiene: an average score of 71/100 with 46% rated D/F, 94% connected to breached third- and fourth-party vendors (1,597 third-party and 2,474 fourth-party breach instances), heavy vendor concentration (Google 82%, Amazon 77%, Microsoft 70%), and rising regulatory enforcement under PIPA — concluding that continuous supply-chain visibility, concentration risk management, and stronger governance are required to reduce breach likelihood and regulatory exposure.
