Unknown actors compromised the website of Sir David Davis (Conservative MP for Goole and Pocklington) on 23 April 2026, inserting redirects to Southeast Asian gambling sites; following restoration the site was hit by a sustained DDoS of 142 million requests consuming nearly 800 GB of data within 24 hours. The incident was raised in the House of Commons, the MP suggested links to China, and MPs were advised to contact the Parliamentary Security Department for guidance.
