On 23 April 2026 the ransomware group Payload attacked the B3 school cluster in Bruck an der Mur, Styria, Austria, claiming to have obtained 21 GB of data and threatening publication; authorities refused to negotiate, restored systems rapidly with no lasting damage reported, and filed a report with the data protection authority.
